Walking your child into a new place takes trust. We don’t take that lightly. Belvedere Church Kids exists to help your children meet Jesus in a way they can actually understand — through Bible stories told well, worship they can sing, and adults who learn their names and are genuinely glad they came.

On Sunday mornings, your kids start the service right beside you — we love having them in the room for worship. After the singing, just before the message, children are dismissed by age to their own classes, so they get teaching built for them while you settle into the sermon. You’ll pick them up after the service.

What a Sunday looks like

Families worship together first. Once we’ve sung, kids are dismissed by age to classes made for where they actually are. Little ones play, sing, and hear their first Bible truths in a safe, cheerful room. Elementary kids dig into a Bible story, talk about what it means, and connect it to their week — school, friends, home. The goal isn’t to entertain your kids for an hour. It’s to hand them the gospel in words they can carry.

Rooms are staffed by at least two adults, and we’ll only release your child to the person who dropped them off. If your child needs you during the service, we’ll come get you.

At our West Palm Beach church, we believe children grow best in a loving, Christ-centered community. Kids learn that following Jesus is not something we do alone. Together, they are encouraged to know God’s Word, build meaningful friendships, and grow in faith alongside caring leaders and other children.

  • We deeply value every child and believe they should be taught the truth of God’s Word in a safe, loving, and age-appropriate environment. Our Kids Ministry is Christ-centered and gospel-focused, helping children understand who Jesus is, what He has done for us, and how the Bible applies to their everyday lives.

  • We care for children from infancy through, grouped so the teaching fits each stage. Students in middle and high school join our student ministry instead.

  • Children stay with you for the first part of the service and are dismissed by age right after the worship music, before the message. On your first visit, arrive a few minutes early so we can check your child in — you’ll pick them up again once the service ends.

  • Yes. We have a two-adult minimum in every room. The safety and care of every child are a top priority. All Kids Ministry volunteers are carefully screened and background checked, and we use secure check-in and pick-up procedures.

  • Just comfortable clothes. We’ll provide everything for the morning. For infants and toddlers, label any bottles, diapers, or comfort items.
